This means that you are limited to looking far from city centers where things get a bit rural. This may work for your lifestyle especially if you work from home. However, you may be limited when it comes to hooking up to city services like water and sewer. Choose the site carefully and know what you are getting into.

3 – Being in a rush

Another common issue that turns people off from building a home is that it is time-consuming. Getting the home planned out, waiting for permits, and coordinating many different construction crews takes a considerable amount of time. Then there is the time it takes to receive custom materials and features.

This means that you have to have a lot of patience. If you are in a temporary home while you wait then make sure that you are able to stay there as long as you need to since you never know when it will end.
